Girls and boys from 2 years are warmly welcomed to the Nursery at Yarlet where, in the caring, family atmosphere created by our staff, the children soon become part of the "Doodles" family, forming close friendships with pupils and staff alike.

The Yarlet Nursery is designed with a playroom, classroom and rest room to meet our "Doodles" educational, creative and recreational needs. Alongside this, the "Doodles" also enjoy the wonderful grounds and facilities available to Yarlet pupils. The 33 acres of woodlands, fields and gardens are ideal for daily nature walks and to explore, run, have fun and generally enjoy being children. The gym is stocked with large play equipment, and further recent additions include a play boat, house and drawbridge.

Settling In

All new "Doodles" are invited to make "settling in" visits before starting. These visits enable children to make friends with other "Doodles", as well as getting used to their Nursery "home" and routine.

Parents are given a daily update on their child's activities and progress. In addition, written reports are prepared at the end of each term. Parents are also welcome to attend various events during the Nursery Calendar, such as the Nativity Play, Sports Day, etc., where they can enjoy their children participating in Nursery life.
